Flagler
Beach Museum We won the bid to convert an old fire
station into a modern museum. Located in the downtown
walking district of Flagler Beach, this new historical
museum features artifacts and historical treasures on
public display. Scope out our handiwork while you take
a step back in time.
Flagler
Beach City Hall The challenge here, was to take a 60’s
era building and create a facade that matched newer
parts of the building and stayed within a very tight budget.
Additionally, we had to receive approval of the city fathers
and staff. The result is an attractive, clean lined structure
that warmly welcomes citizens and visitors into it’s
doors.
Banking
Center Conversion This 70’s era building needed
expansion and complete renovations. Coquina was able to
use existing interior areas and facilities and rehabilitate
others. An added wing (although you would never know)
upgraded the building into a comprehensive professional
banking center.
Historic
Hotel with Modern Additions We were called upon to construct additional
units for a historic, cottage-type motel situated along
scenic highway AIA. All buildings featured native coquina
stonework that needed to be matched. We have added fourteen
new rooms in three buildings; each matching the original
stone exterior and nestled amongst the lush landscape
and towering Oaks.
New
Commercial and Residential Combination Boasting a panoramic ocean view along
scenic highway AIA, this two-story building offers living
quarters above a spacious storefront. This is a typical
example of a structure built seaward of the Florida Coastal
Control Construction Line. It uses concrete masonry unit
construction atop twenty-foot cast concrete pilings and
a structural slab.
